True Love Waits Announcement!

Many of you have been asking me if/when we’ll be having another class for parents and teens regarding True Love Waits. This emphasis on purity in the area of sexual relationships has been taught at CBC for the last 10 years…traditionally having taken place in January/February.

However, we noticed that this was almost “too late” in the year for many who started high school and parents let us know they’d wanted to have their students exposed to the material sooner. Last winter we decided to move this teaching time to the Fall.

So, our class this year will be for parents of high schoolers WITH their teenagers. We’ll begin meeting on October 26, and meet that Sunday, and the next two Sundays, with the ring ceremony taking place on November 9. All class times will be from 10:45AM until 11:45AM.

There’s no cost for the class, however, we would appreciate you letting Brent know by either using the comment box here or simply by sending Brent an e-mail to brent@crossroadsbible.org if you’d like to attend with your child so that we can be responsible with how many copies of notes/handouts to make…and if you could let us know by October 19 it would be MOST helpful.
