We’ll be going over any and all details to finalize our trip which leaves DFW on July 11 (American Airlines Flight #2354, departing at 2:15PM)!

Brent will give you the location of the hang out—which will usually last about an hour and the all begin at 7PM unless otherwise noted! We’ll try to keep the cost of each event between $5-10!

After speaking with the director of the organization, he wants to see if we can complete the giving for the well, so we’ll continue our once per month giving with a few new opportunities thrown in! CBC’s YEAR OF GONZO STUDENT ART BEGAN JULY 1!!!!!
This month’s project: “Truth Telling”—projects due by July 31
Take some sidewalk chalk and write the word TRUTH in big letters somewhere cool & different. Find a Bible verse you like with “truth” in it…put the notation near the TRUTH chalk word you wrote. Take a creative photo of yourself with your word & verse. Color print the photo and bring it by July 31. We’ll put them in the art gallery by August 7. August’s project: Black-Out Poetry.

A reminder: there is NOT a high school Sunday School class on June 19 (due to the high school mission trip).

Saturday, June 25: We should arrive between 6PM & 8PM. Parents, don’t forget, the trip isn’t over until we’ve unpacked and you are told you may leave by Brent. Please be on time to pick up your kids (they’ll call when we get about 45 minutes away from CBC).

At The Smith’s: 303 Highland Court in Double Oak 75077
Everyone will need to bring their own towel…and we’ll also need everyone to bring their own soft drink (not necessarily to share, just bring what YOU want to drink) as we’ll be providing the pizza! Please RSVP to Brent on FB or text message by Tuesday, June 28 at 10PM so we’ll know how much pizza to buy!

Today in Sunday School, 10:30—11:45AM in the Dungeon: Charlie Ridenour, teaching!
As a reminder, there is NOT a high school Sunday School class on June 19 (due to the high school mission trip). Class will resume on June 26!
Brent will be teaching in the main services on June 12 with his tribute to the senior class…and the topic will be the life of Paul and the elements of his transformation.

Week of June 13—17: All team members should be ready to assist should you be asked by adults to serve via packing, kitchen crew, shopping crew, etc. If you are NOT contacted, please don’t worry.
Saturday, June 18: Don’t forget that DEPARTURE time is 5:50AM. This means you should arrive at CBC, check in, and start loading your gear at 5:30AM. Eating first is a wise move!

Today in Sunday School, 10:30—11:45AM in the Dungeon: Promotion Sunday! Join us as we welcome the class of 2015 to the student ministry!
The FINAL WATERISBASIC.ORG IS TODAY, Sun. June 5!
It is our hope that everyone who attends Sunday School TODAY will bring $30, which will help us reach our goal of providing a well for a village in Africa before school is out. We’ve raised nearly $1,250! Our goal is $3,500 by June 5.…You can check our progress on the Facebook page “Water is Basic-CBC”

If you have your forms completed and/or your financial deposit ready to be made, this would be an excellent time for you to bring them both! Please make plans to be there as this meeting will cover the schedule and main gathering of team members!
Brent will be teaching in the main services on June 12 with his tribute to the senior class…and the topic will be the life of Paul & his transformation.
Wednesday Night Fellowships will begin with a pool party on June 29, 2011. Full details to be announced next week!
