Since the NFL has strictly enforced their copyright of “Super Bowl” and “Super Sunday” we have renamed our party as generically as possible so as not to infringe.
Guys A—M & Girls N--Z will need to bring their favorite soft drink (2-liter), Guys N—Z and Girls A—M will need to bring their favorite snack food and we’ll supply the pizza! Please let Brent know by Facebook if you’re planning on coming so we can order the right amount, okay?
Juarez, Mexico Mission Trip: June 13-20, 2009. Please get your passport if you don’t have one, and if you do have one, please make sure it does not expire before June 21.

No Small Groups Meet Tonight
It is the official policy of Crossroads Bible Church (and has been this way for years), that whenever LISD is closed for any part of the school day, ALL activities that are CBC related are cancelled. This includes Half-Time, adult CE classes, Divorce Care, etc.
So, all high school in-home small group Bible studies are cancelled as well. Yes, we know that it is predicted to clear up after lunchtime, however, it's best to keep inexperienced drivers off the roads and all that. There is a small possibility of refreezing as well, even if that happens later tonight.

January 18: Charlie Ridenour, teaching. (Pine Cove Retreat Weekend)
January 25: Vision for CBC Student Ministry, Part 3. Philippians 3.

January 7, 6:30PM—8:00PM, in the Dungeon: All girls Bible study groups & leaders meet in the Dungeon for the annual “Letters” meeting—bring a Bible & a pen. Class of 2011/12 bring soft drinks, Class of 2009/10 bring snacks.
January 7, All guys will be going to see “Valkyrie” (PG-13) at 7PM at the Highland Village 12. Bring money to get in & meet outside at 6:45PM.
Wednesday Night Bible Studies resume January 14, 2009.
Jr./Sr. girls & guys studies have host homes, if you’re interested in hosting for the next 8 weeks or semester, e-mail Brent at Brent@crossroadsbible.org.
Pine Cove No Agenda Retreat Update: We leave on Jan. 16! We have 2 spots available for purchase. Please check the back of this sheet to make sure you’re on the list, & pick up an info packet in SS tonight!
