Sept. 5, 2010: Knowing Christ, Week #2. Luke 5 & John 6.

Discussion Starter: Tell a neighbor or two about a time when you were doing something you loved, and then later had to make a decision of whether or not to quit? What changed? What reasons did you have for either staying with it or quitting? Give specific examples.

Luke 5: 1--11:

In verse 1, WHO is there and WHERE are they?
In verses 2&3, WHAT was Jesus doing?
In verse 4, WHAT does Jesus tell him to do?
In verse 5, WHAT is Simon’s response?
In verses 6—9, WHAT happens and HOW do they react?
In verses 10&11, WHAT does Jesus tell them and what is their reaction?
