Crossroads Bible Church Senior High Student Ministry March 27, 2011 Announcements

Team Arizona Informational Meeting for Parents & Students:
Sunday, March 27, 2011, in the CBC Dungeon from 11:50am to 12:30PM.
This meeting will give you all the details regarding the student ministry mission trip on June 18-25, 2011. It’s especially important to attend if you’re planning on going because we have made some changes to fundraising that most of you will need to know!

WATERISBASIC.ORG Sunday is March 27! During worship in class, we’ll have buckets for your donations! We’ve currently raised over $945.40. Our goal is $3,500 by May 29…and the suggested donation per person is $12 a month to help us reach our goal. You can check our progress on the Facebook page “Water is Basic-CBC”

Brent McKinney continutes the 1 Corinthians series in Chapters 10 & 11: Solving the Problem of Selfishness.

All the high school video passwords are abc123 (but if you access them by channel you won’t need them). There are no notes on the web site as we’re walking through the texts asking “who, what, where, when, why & how?”

Girl-Talk: If you have diapers for the Teen MOPS project, you can talk to Sue Green to get them to the moms who would greatly appreciate them.

Easter: April 24, 2011. We will have a sleepover to set up for the sunrise service the night before, so clear your calendar now! Easter services are sunrise, 8:30AM, 10AM & 11:30AM.
CBC Student Ministry Senior Speeches: May 22, 2011 = 56 Days! (next senior meeting is set for May 1 to discuss all the details).

Service Opportunities:

The loose-change worship offering will continue NEXT week (taking a week off for the Africa well). Since the last few checks we’ve written we now have over $1,000! We’ll be waiting until the end of the year to make our donation to the Somaly Mam Foundation (http://www.somaly.org). Thank you so much for your generosity to this cause!
