Sunday Announcements for July 12

High School Sunday School Today, July 12, 2009.
10:45—11:50AM, in the Dungeon
We’ll be continuing our study on the life of Elijah—and passing his ministry on to Elisha in 2 Kings 1 &2.

The next post-Sunday School hangout is TODAY, July 12
Bring your swimsuit to change into after class, and guys bring a soda and girls bring a snack!!!

…with swimming and lunch at Ian & Dottie Cook’s (520 Oak Ridge Trail, Copper Canyon, 75077—leave CBC and go left on Chinn Chapel. Go 1.5 miles and turn left on Woodland Dr. Go 0.4 miles and turn right on W. Woodglen Drive. Go 0.2 miles and turn left onto Oakridge Trail). Other dates for hanging out after Sunday School class are, July 19 (TBA), and August 2 & 16 (TBA).

Summer Wednesday Nights at Crossroads!
Begins at 6:30—8PM in the Dungeon for all high schoolers!
July 15, 22 & 29: “Explore” training in evangelism for students. Led by Bill Lee, and this class will give you the confidence you need to tell friends about Christ. There is a cost for the workbooks ($20, which includes two books—one to go through with a friend) but if you can’t afford it, just pay what you can, and if that’s $0, then so be it!

August 5: review of “Explore” August 12: Break (no meeting). August 19: Meet your small group leader night at CBC. August 26, in home small groups begin for Fall semester.

We’ll do our best to communicate via Facebook and e-mail if there will be a gathering after the summer Wednesday studies to hang out or see a movie or pool party or whatever, with times/locations/costs (if any), etc.

CBC ART SHOW: JULY 19 & 26, IN THE CBC LOBBY
Any artist can display their painting, photography, sculptures, metal work, wood work, jewelry, framed poetry, etc. these two Sundays. Contact John.Newton@crossroadsbible.org to enter the show as well as get all the details regarding set-up, storage and take-down.
