SERVICE OPPORTUNITY FOR ADULTS: In the last week, THREE of our female adult leaders have had conflicts arise that prevent them from serving our students on the No Agenda weekend. If you can serve, there is no cost for adults and we truly have a need! Please contact Brent McKinney at Brent@Crossroadsbible.org or via mobile phone ASAP!

Pine Cove No Agenda Weekend!
Buses leave the CBC south parking lot at 1:31PM on Friday, Jan. 14.
Please arrive at 1PM to load your gear and eat lunch before you come! All information regarding packing is available at www.cbchighschool.blogspot.com. (sheets will also be available in Sunday School) Buses will return around 9:30PM on Sunday, Jan. 16. Balance due (assuming you paid early-bird deposit of $50, is $75 per student) before you get on the bus.

Wednesday Night Discipleship will resume in area homes on Jan. 19, taking off January 12 for L.I.S.D. finals.

We are in need of a host home for our junior-sophomore-freshman small group for the 2nd semester. If you’re willing to open your home, please contact Brent as soon as possible!.

Service Opportunities:

The loose-change worship offering continues each week. Since last May, we’ve written two checks of over $500 to the Somaly Mam Foundation (http://www.somaly.org) and WE’LL BE WRITING ANOTHER CHECK ASAP and we’re HALFWAY TO OUR 4th CHECK!!!! Thank you so much for your generosity to this cause!

CBC Kids has opportunities to serve on Sundays! Check out the Grapevine for all the contact information.

Special thanks to all our parents who helped with the Christmas Banquet! A great time was had by all, and the work you did set a great tone for the evening!

Special thanks to everyone who helped with the set-up and take-down of the Angel Tree, especially Vanessa and Ryan for making sure it was organized!.
